Ladies and Gentlemen.
1. First and foremost, I would like to express my appreciation and thanks to the organisers for inviting me to the opening ceremony of Efficient Technology Sdn. Bhd. new headquarter building here in Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau III, Johor Bahru. I would like to express my appreciation to Encik Mahathir Samat and all his staff for the kind invitation for me officiate this new premise today.
2. I am delighted to officiate this occasion as I believe this is another significance event to local company such as Efficient Technology Sdn Bhd. The official opening of this modern headquarter marks a new milestone in the company’s history. It also reflects the government aspirations for the oil and gas industry in Malaysia.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
3. I was made to understand that the company has witnessed an incredible growth in its operation. The company has evolved from operating from a small premise to this magnificent headquarters which shows its growth and dedication in achieving. It is a true testament of the management dedication and passion. All along, the company has evolved to offer various product and services in the oil and gas industry particularly in Malaysia.
4. Malaysia has been rated as one of the developing nation with diversified industry/ economy. We have evolved from agriculture to manufacturing and now in the services industry. These successes are due to the government efforts in our economic diversification. We can no longer depend on one particular industry. We need to multiply our efforts to further develop our economy. They government is working tirelessly to provide strategies and assistance through policies, guidelines and reform to our industry.
5. The government is committed to further develop Malaysia as one of the important oil and gas industry nation. Various programmes have been introduced by the government in realizing this commitment. As you are aware the development of our oil and gas industry is an essential part of the Government's Economic Transformation Programme. Efficient Technology expansion proves that the Government initiatives are in line with the aspirations of the industry.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
6. The new building is significant to the success of Efficient Technology Sdn Bhd. You have taken a bold step to achieve your goal by investing in this new facility. We need local entrepreneurs that are willing to go beyond the local market. I sincerely hope this expansion would enable the company to embark on new frontiers, explore new markets and embrace latest and newest technologies in the industry.
7. Placing your company’s operations under one roof, here at the new building, will enhance the efficiency of the company’s operation. Staffs will be able to take full advantage of this excellent working environment. I believe that facilities in the building are better equip them for the challenges ahead.
8. It only remains for me now to wish the company and staff every success in their new headquarters and in the future. Again I would like to thank all of the Eftech staff for inviting me here today and showing me around your excellent new facility. I would like to conclude my speech by wishing that this opening ceremony for this building becomes a milestone for a significant advancement of Eftech in the near future.
